The course is much longer than 8 hours, excluding the exam. One of the questions on the exam was impossible to answer. "The site safety manager or coordinator shall, at a minimum, meet on a "how often?" basis with the designated representative of each subcontractor to ascertain that all subcontractors are complying with the applicable provisions of this chapter" the choices provided for this question were: true or false

I've taken other online courses before, and I do not think this is one I would recommend. It got the job done, there were not annoying technical issues in completing the course. However, the course was mostly just a voice reading the text on the slides- zero additional context. The reviews were often just all of the slide text and audio played at normal speed in video form. The videos were helpful, but it was not necessary to have 3 videos on ladder safety.
